Acetal (also know as Polyoxymethylene or POM) is an engineering thermoplastic that is tough, resistant to moisture as well as many chemicals. It is easy to machine, making it ideal for precision parts requiring high stiffness, low friction, and tight tolerances. Acme Plastics' Acetal Rods are available in black & natural colors as well as a large variety of diameters. Standard lengths are 60" and 120".
