What are UHMW sheets used for?

UHMW sheets are used often in food and marine industries due to their resistance to bacteria and moisture. Additionally, UHMW often replaces wood in outdoor applications, since UHMW is not affected by different kinds of weather and does not rot.

What are the differences between HDPE and UHMW sheets?

HDPE and UHMW are both resistant to chemicals and are able to handle high-impact stress. UHMW has longer polymer chains than HDPE and has zero moisture absorption. HDPE, on the other hand, has slight water absorption and has a higher strength-to-weight ratio.
